Patricia Haddad (haddad.patricia@yahoo.com)

Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky

Rating: 5 Stars

Wonderful characterizations and friendships developed after the German occupation of Paris. The most amazing part is that the author's manuscript was hidden in her daughter's suitcase for 60 years and published with almost no editing.

The Shack by William P. Young

Rating: 5 Stars

A story by an unknown author.... a story of redemption and God's perfect love. A grieving father meets God in an unexpected way, begins the process of healing, and develops a true relationship with God.

Cayla Ames

You Had Me At Good-bye by Tracey Bateman

Rating: 5 Stars

This book was incredible; probably even better than the first one in the series! Bateman does a fantastic job of truly getting us hooked on these characters' lives and making us want to become instant friends with them. The plot was interesting, even making me want to become an editor! I recommend this to all chick lit fanatics looking for a good read by the beach :)

Amber Morn by Brandilyn Collins

Rating: 4 Stars

3 men take Java Joint and thus all of Kanner Lake, ID hostage in a nail-biting finale to the series. I'm giving it a 4 rather than a five due to the amount of violence.

Nancy Ryan (nancyryan59@aol.com)

The Ezekial Option by Joel C. Rosenberg

A. Lynne

Murder, Mayhem & a Fine Man by Claudia Mair Burney

Rating: 4 Stars

Mystery, humor, relationships, guilt, and revenge come to play in this book. The author introduces characters with flaws and quirks that keep you laughing, sometimes teary eyed and turning pages. Can't wait for the next one.

Eden: A Novel With a Lot of Truth To It by D. Kevin May, Ph.D.

Rating: 5 Stars

this is not your typical Christian novel, yet it offers an incredible journey through worldly struggles to blessed freedom. EDEN leads you on an international business trip turned psychological thriller, while exploring the challenges that face us in a post 9/11 world.

Robin Grenier

Healing Stones by Nancy Rue and Stephen Arterburn

Rating: 5 Stars

I highly recommend this book --- it has suspense, life lessons and unexpected surprises. I could not put it down. As you travel through the life of a Christian Professor who has an affair and has to learn forgiveness of self, you too learn many lessons about judging others. This book is based on the verse, "He who is without sin throw the first stone". A must read!

Tracy

Savannah by the Sea by Denise Hildreth

DEEPER WATER is a great read that combines intriguing suspense with a young lady's drive to succeed in her law career, while still upholding her convictions.

Betty

First Light by Bodie & Brock Thoene

Rating: 5 Stars

The authors did a great job of researching the background and cultureof the Jewish people and the way they were treated by the Romans.

Yvonne B

Oceans Apart by Karen Kingsbury

Rating: 5 Stars

I loved this book! It is incredible how Kingsbury can capture the emotions of all parties involved in the adultery issue in this book.

Forgiveness, love, jealousy, trust... I couldn't put this book down.

True Light: A Restoration Novel, book 3) by Terri Blackstock

Rating: 5 Stars

An electromagnetic pulse is still leaving the earth without power in book three. But, human nature is getting bad as people try to survive without the comforts they are used to.

This book really makes you evaluate how you use resources, especially with gas prices soaring.

I can relate to some characters, but I want to scream at others. Either way, it's an engaging read!

Martha

Bluebonnet Belle by Lori Copeland

Rating: 4 Stars

A fun read!

Spirit Unbroken: The Two Sides of Love by Rick and Alice Garlock

Rating: 5 Stars

This book was inspirational and heartwarming. It was hard to put down. I have always appreciated my dad, but this book has made me appreciate how good he is to us even more. It is wonderful how, through God, someone can break the cycle of abuse and turn out to be not only such a wonderful person, but a wonderful mother, wife, and friend.

Spirit Unbroken: The Two Sides of Love by Rick & Alice Garlock

Rating: 5 Stars

You won't be able to put it down. SPIRIT UNBROKEN: The Two Sides of Love is an inspiration to anyone who may be going through bitterness within their family, for whatever reason. It's a testimony of all things working for the good for those who are called out by God. It also testifies that through it all, God's plans (not man's plan) for us to prosper and do us no harm will never be broken.

Katy (kretzkidz@yahoo.com)

The Shack by William P. Young

Rating: 4 Stars

It is a very thought-provoking book about trust and forgiveness. I think everyone should read it.

This is a very heartwarming book.
After you start reading it, you can hardly put it down. It is a true story
of a courageous family who undergoes
some of life's most terrible
experiences. You won't be sorry you purchased this book.

Perfect by Harry Kraus MD

Rating: 4 Stars

This story reads like a perfect book as the theme of living a pretend-perfect life runs throughout the story. Mystery, romance, and spiritual depth are part of this great read.

Cape Refuge by Terri Blackstock

Rating: 5 Stars

I just discovered this great author of inspiration.

Sandy Ghrist

The Debt by Angela Hunt

Rating: 5 Stars

I love Angela Hunt. I just finished THE CANOPY and THE ELEVATOR --- both full of suspense. I can't wait to read more of her works. I have 2 audiobooks by her in my TBR pile that I am going to listen to on the way to work: THE SHADOW WOMAN and THE IMMORTAL.

Bygones by Kim Vogel Sawyer

Rating: 5 Stars

This first book in the Sommerfield Trilogy keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. The main message is, when things look impossible, call on God. It's a well-written, down-to-earth type of book.

I am part way through the next book, BEGINNINGS, which is just as good as the first, and I have the third, BLESSINGS, just waiting its turn.

By Reason of Insanity by Randy Singer

Rating: 5 Stars

This legal thriller is one you can't put down until the finish. It brought up the idea of visions as a gift that God gives to non-Christians and Christians alike. It was like a John Grisham novel meets James Patterson.

shyeyes (dawnymae5@msn.com)

The Penny by Joyce Meyer

The Kanner Lake series by Brandilyn Collins

Rating: 4 Stars

This series is perfect for someone who doesn't normally read suspense novels. All the books are set in a small Idaho town with recurring characters. You should read them in order:

1. VIOLET DAWN
2. CORAL MOON
3. CRIMSON EVE
4. AMBER MOON

Everyone has a secret past. I'm reading CRIMSON EVE and can barely put it down.
