The Last Storyteller by Diane Noble. 4 stars.
The Prodigal by Beverly Lewis. 5 stars.
The Mill House by Paul McCusker. 3 stars.

Ekey95@aol.com
Stain of Guilt by Brandilyn Collins. 5 stars.
A book to keep you on the edge of your seat, it reflects God's love throughout its pages.

Footsteps by DiAnn Mills. 5 stars.
Riveting story, a mother's worst fears, and through it all Jesus upholds the characters.

Double Vision by Randall Ingermanson. 5 stars.
The techno writing is made easy to understand because it's crafted into a great storyline. Guys would like it, too.

T. D. Jakes is a new author to me, but I'm working through Celebrating Marriage, which is a deeply thought provoking look at Ephsians. Working through it is necessary because there really is a lot to learn. 3 stars.

rollyrobinson@aol.com
Small Change: The Secret Life of Penny Burford by J. Belinda Yandell. 5 stars.
What a terrific book! I cried and laughed. I have lent it to about 12 people so far and they absolutely loved it. I bought another copy to re-read and loan out some more. I devour books weekly, and in over 30 years of reading this easily made my top 5 list to keep and read again over and over. Delightful.

Color the Sidewalk for Me by Brandilyn Collins. 4 stars.
This book was very good. At times it enthralled me --- the characters were so real that I cared for them greatly! And, at other times, it made me want to set it aside. The happenings reminded me of things in my own life, and it was hard to read them. But these are the makings of a great novel --- when it has characters you care about deeply, and when it reminds you of the blessings and the hard times of life. Having read other books by this author (Eyes of Elisha, Dreadchampion), I have to say that this book did not disappoint. I would gladly recommend Brandilyn's books to anyone.

I just finished reading Sarah's Song by Karen Kingsbury and rate it 5 stars. It's a beautiful Christmas story.

I'm reading:

At the Scent of Water by Linda Nichols.
She's done it again. Emotionally wrenching, yet so full of faith. Ms. Nichols is an excellent storyteller.

Bad Heiress Day by Allie Pleiter.
About a woman who inherits a large amount of money from her father, and he instructs her to give it all away. It really made me think. A touching book.

Walk by Faith by Rosanne Bittner.
I'm not usually a huge historical fan, but this one has a wonderful plot and well drawn characters

All That Matters by Jan Goldstein
A woman has decided to kill herself and her grandmother makes it her mission to make sure she doesn't follow through. Great story about family.

"Morning Shade Mysteries" by Lori Copeland
I love these books! (Actually I'm only partway through the second, but I still love them.) Definitely 5 stars.

MSmith2957@aol.com
Right now I have reached the middle of Soul Journey by Jacquelin Thomas about a woman's struggle to be accepted as a pastor in a southern Baptist church. Her biggest critic is her father whose footsteps she followed in and will not accept the idea of females in the pulpit. There are conflicts for Journee as a female minister, but how they affect her career has yet to be revealed. So far I give this book 3 stars.

The Duet by Robert Elmer. 5 stars.
I hope he'll write more books like this!

A Nest of Sparrows by Deborah Raney. 5 stars.
Kept me up all night...incredible story!

Breach of Promise by James Scott Bell. 5 stars.
Tied with Deadlock as his best.

If I Had You by Deborah Bedford. 4 stars.
Great writing, a little slow moving.

Capture the Wind for Me by Brandilyn Collins. 4 stars.
A good series.

Oceans Apart by Karen Kingsbury. 3 stars.
Not as good as her earlier novels.

LoriKasbeer520@msn.com
Do You Think I'm Beautiful? by Angela Thomas. 5 stars.
The Yada Yada Prayer Group by Neta Jackson. 5 stars.
The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Down by Neta Jackson. 5 stars.

tfranzen2124@comcast.net
I read lots of "self-help"/counseling/psychology/Christain living books, and this month I read When Bad Things Happen to Good Marriages by the Parotts. A good primer, but nothing earth shattering. 3 stars and helpful mostly to solid marriages that seek improvements or some creative ways to stay on the right track.

Right now I am reading the final book in the "California Pioneer" series by Elaine Schulte. The book is called Mercies So Tender, and I rate it 3 1/2 stars. The first five books in this series are The Journey West, Golden Dreams, Eternal Passage, With Wings as Eagles, and Peace Like a River. I also give them 3 1/2 stars apiece. I hope other people enjoy them as much as I do.

jaded271@yahoo.com
Finding Hope by Brenda Coulter. 5 stars.
This is the best contemporary romance I have ever read! It deserves more than five stars!

First Impressions by Debra White Smith. 5 stars.
This book is so much fun. You won't be able to put it down until you're finished!

Island of the Innocent by Gilbert and Lynn Morris. 5 stars.
This book is from the "Cheney Duvall M.D." series. It is the best book I have ever read, but don't read it unless you've read the books that come before it. They're addictive!

A Kiss of Adventure and A Touch of Betrayal by Catherine Palmer. 5 stars.
These are books 1 and 3 of the "Treasures of the Heart" series. They are so fun and exciting. Be careful, though. Once you've started reading, you won't be able to do anything else until you're through!

Whenever I need a quick read and a bit of inspiration, I always turn to Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly. You can't go wrong with one of her books. 5 stars

Dasras50@aol.com

Qwerty1048@aol.com
Take a look at Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart: Thirty True Things You Need to Know Now by Gordon Livingston, M.D. This book changed my life.
