I just finished reading After the Locusts by Jan Coleman and give it 5 stars! I was comforted by the stories of other women who had experienced pain similar to my own (and sometimes more devastating!) and learning how God has transformed their lives into something even better than they could have imagined. I found it hard to put this book down because with each new story I felt a renewed hope for the future. Jan does an excellent job of weaving in scripture references as she tells the stories. In fact, I am reading the book a second time and looking up the various scriptures. I would (and have!) recommended this book to others who are going through difficult times --- it helps to know that you are not alone.
